Our History

  • AAA Alarm Systems was started in 1973 by Mike and Mary Gurule. They Gurule’s spent the first seven years building their business one customer at a time. By 1980 the business had grown to such a size they invested in their own Central Monitoring Station. Operating their own Monitoring station allowed them to handle their accounts on a more personal level. The Gurule's continued to work together for the next 35 years.
  • TBM was started in 1979 by Tim Murone. As an electrical contractor TBM provided residential and commercial service. By 1982 the demand for service had grown to 24-hour emergency along with residential, commercial, institutional installations. In the beginning TBM clients included local residence and businesses which quickly grew to include City, County, State and various school Districts throughout the Inland Empire. Thought the years TBM continued to provide service and support the local communitys and its residences.
  • Realizing the two businesses shared much of the same customer base and the desire to keep their security business "local" providing for their customers TBM Services, Inc. acquired their accounts and moved the business to their building on Tennessee Street in Redlands. Today, TBM continues their Fire Alarm systems installations/maintaince and operates AAA Alarm Systems.

Additionally, we are qualified to work on Fire Lite, Silent Night, Radionics Fire Systems, along with other non-priority systems. We are an RSI Wireless camera supplier/installer and Everfocus Dealer Trained Company. Our technicians complete additional trainings thought the year.

Today, intruders have the option to cut your phone line prior to breaking into your properties, which cuts off communications to our Central Monitoring Station. Adding a GSM unit to your security system will monitor your phone line and send us a signal if not working for any reason.

The GSM unit continues to protect your property and send all normal zoned signals. This unit works great for customers that do not have hard lines to their homes, vacation properties, horse corrals, barns, outdoor buildings etc.
